What is a city game?

A city game is an interactive treasure hunt through the city where teams solve challenges using their smartphones.

During the game, teams follow a route past interesting locations in the city centre. Along the way they receive challenges and collect clues that gradually lead them closer to solving the mystery.

De puzzels waren niet echt moeilijk; de kinderen konden ze meestal wel goed oplossen. We kenden Utrecht al behoorlijk goed, maar je komt toch op andere plekken en je kijkt toch weer anders naar de stad.

Niet bedoeld om de spelfanaten aan hun trekken te laten komen, maar wel bedoeld om spelenderwijs mooie, leuke, wetenswaardige plekken van de locatie te zien. Heel leuk gedaan! Ook de tweede was erg leuk te doen. Het is op een speelse wijze de stad leren kennen. We hebben nu ook de derde stad gedaan. Ondanks dat we de stad al eens bezochten, zie je heel veel leuke en nieuwe dingen waardoor de stad leuker is.

Tijdens onze tocht leerden we veel over dingen in de stad die we nog nooit bewust gezien hadden. Hele leuke toevoeging. We hadden ruim 2,5 uur nodig om de klus te klaren. Enkele vragen waren echte notenkrakers. Éen keer hebben we assistentie gevraagd. We hebben er van genoten. Net geen 5 sterren omdat we een paar vragen te onduidelijk vonden, maar de tocht is absoluut de moeite waard.

    Geverifieerd Leuke route met opdrachten die goed te doen waren Leuke route met opdrachten die goed te doen waren. De route kwam langs een aantal rustigere en minder bekende plekken in de stad dus even weg van de toeristische hotspots. Heel leuk ook om de weetjes te lezen.
